　　The door frame is the connecting member between the cast iron gate and the foundation, which is equivalent to the buried height of the plane steel gate. The door frame consists of the lower door frame and the upper guide rail. The lower door frame is generally cast as a whole. The guide rail can be connected with the door frame with bolts (screws) or cast as a whole with the lower door frame. When the door body is opened to the position, the top of the guide rail should be higher than the horizontal center line of the door body.

　　Features of cast iron gate:

　　Generally, the cast iron gate is equipped with adjustable wedging device, and the wedging pairs (such as wedges and wedges, wedges and eccentric pins, etc.) are respectively set on the door body and the door frame. Adjusting the wedge tightening device can make the gate close to the door frame when the gate is closed, so as to meet the water stop requirements.

　　Cast iron gate is usually equipped with manual or electric screw hoist to operate the gate.

　　Simple layout, compact structure, space saving; simple operation and maintenance, reduce operating costs, but the cost of cast iron gate is slightly higher than that of steel gate.

　　Strong corrosion resistance. The door body and frame are made of cast iron, copper alloy or stainless steel and other corrosion-resistant materials. It is especially suitable for sewage or seawater environment. Where there are special requirements, nickel chromium alloy cast iron and other materials with stronger corrosion resistance can also be used.
